あっ！そうだ！ピクチャースタイルをモノクロにすればプレビューでの光の回り方が直感的にわかりやすいはずだ！とかふと思った。
ヒストグラムでRGBチャンネルの状態はわかるし、とりあえず試しにやってみようかな。
何でも思った事はやってみないとね。
なにやら5D2で撮影したドラマが始まるらしい。
AWBの仕組み
AEの仕組みはだいたいわかる。
18%グレーを基準にして露出を自動決める仕組み。
RGB測光であれば、それに被写体の色も加味するからより正確。
だけどオートホワイトバランスの仕組みはよくわからん。
と言う事で調べてみた。ちょっと古い記事だけど
ホワイトバランスは、光源のRGB比を推定する技術。キヤノンのオートホワイトバランスが正確な理由は、「他社製品の多分割測光は256分割程度だが、キヤノンでは数10万に分割し、色情報を収集して外光の光源色を推定しているからだ」とアピールした。さらに、「DIGICの高速演算により、無意識に補正している人間の脳と同じような処理が行われている」と紹介。また、「決して画面全体の平均色を白にするものではない」とコメントした。
知りたいのはもっと深い詳しい部分なんだけど、とりあえずはこんな感じらしい。
キャノンは正確とか担当が言ってる割には全然正確じゃないと思う。
タングステン光源下なんて全く白は出ないし、1D3だと真っ赤になる。
現像ソフトの自動WBの方が正確だったりするし。
今の技術じゃ被写体の色をBODYが判断するって難しいのかな。
露出決定
露出は99%以上をマニュアルモードで決定してます。
屋外だとAEを使う事も少しだけ増えるかな。
これはスタジオの中から窓に向かって撮った写真なんだけど、露出は窓側から内側を撮ってた時のままのISO160 SS1/160 F2.5。
モデルを照らす光は少し落ちてるからISOを2/3段くらい上げても良かったかな。
RAW現像時に若干上方修正してます。
何度も書いてるけど、撮影時は常にオーバーを意識してハイライトがヒストグラムの右を振り切る露出にして現像時に下方修正する事が多い。
そうする事でS/N(Signal/Noise)比が高くなり暗部もクリアなデータが得られるから。
うちの部屋の不思議の一つ
これだけ寒い(外気温２度)のに、エアコンＯＦＦで窓も少し開けてるのに室温が23.5度。
PCの電源を切ってから寝て、朝起きても20度を下回った事が無い。
保温壁？
